Kraft Recalls Over 7,500 Cases of American Singles over Ingredient Storage Issue

If you have Kraft American singles cheese product in your house, you will want to take a minute and check the package. Kraft Foods Group decided to initiate a voluntary recall of 7,691 cases of four different varieties of its Kraft American Singles due to a supplier incorrectly storing an ingredient used in them. The recall is a precautionary measure, and there have been no known incidents of people getting ill or consumer complaints from the product. The cheese came from the Kraft Springfield, Missouri, manufacturing facility, and the recall includes the following varieties:

  • 12 oz Kraft American Singles (16 slices) with best used by date of 20 FEB 2015 and 21 FEB 2015
  • 16 oz Kraft American

    Although I would never eat these in the first place, it’s good to see a company being proactive in a case like this and not only thinking about money. Good on them.
