With all the different official and observed holidays in the US, it can get quite confusing trying to remember what is open and what isn’t as each approaches. There is nothing more frustrating than going someplace only to find out that it happens to be closed due to a holiday. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, a lot of people will begin to wonder whether or not the banks, credit unions, and post offices will be open on Mother’s Day.

    I had no idea there were any banks, credit unions, or post offices open on a Sunday. That is something I have never seen in my region of the country.

    There aren’t many, but there are a few here and there. TD Bank is the largest bank that is open on most Sundays and there are a few regional credit unions that are open on Sundays.

  3. Mother’s day is celebrated every second Sunday of the month, so most banks are close during that time.
