I was able to put up a bulk lot of sewing patterns that weren’t in good enough condition for my pattern store, Moonwishes Sewing and Crafts. They had been stacking up forever and the area they were in was starting to look like an architectural dig. Not knowing what they may have been worth, I put them up for auction with a beginning auction price of $19.99 and with a BIN of $75.99. A person bought them with the BIN and after postage, EBay and PP fees, etc. I ended up with $53.74 so that was two weeks worth of the challenge with some change left over. I want to get two more auctions up next week of stuff that has only been collecting dust as well. I did put the money into a savings account on Capital 360 (formerly ING) although I haven’t yet determined what it will be for.
