That is more than enough TV. I’m down to my ‘favorite shows’ now and try to do something beneficial during the rest of the time even if it is reading a book to review for Amazon!

The only reason we got it at that point was to speed up our internet connection. Worked out great for the kids as they had to be creative with their time, etc. Wish I could convince folks in our house to go without again.

Totally agree with you. We couldn’t get it when we moved and went a few months without it, thought the world was going to end. 5+ years later still no cable. There are so many other mediums out there for entertainment without cable.

Not having cable seriously changes your life. You don’t get sucked into the crappy programming, the awards shows, the filler shows between the ones you really like. Plus it clears your head not having to be advertised too every 3-5 minutes.

We have an antenna and the digital converter box and we get 33 channels from 2 local areas. We’re rural and internet options are limited so we can’t stream videos without using up our data usage for the month very quickly. The antenna works great and we haven’t paid for cable for years.
