I’ve been able to get a month out of a disposable razor using a similar method. I just run the razor backwards over the inside of my arm a few times after shaving.

I usually use a safety razor with replaceable blades though which is even cheaper than disposables. The same method also works with safety razors.

My guess is that they would since they are fundementally the same. definitely worth trying as all it can do is extend their use life.

I wonder if that would work on extending the life on disposable razors as well. I always dry mine off and put the little plastic cover on it and take it out of the shower and that extends it’s life a lot. Since I get given tons of these free disposables by siblings who decide they don’t like them it’s nothing out to me if it doesn’t work. But if it does, it would make me happier to be sending less to the landfill.
