There’s a vast difference in what that means to different people!

For me, things I enjoy include certain collectibles, hobby & memory items.

The things that need to GO are the ones that weigh you down because you don’t use or wear them and you don’t really like them~ yet they’re taking up space in your house & need to be cleaned & maintained. That’s the stuff I’m working to get rid of, so I can enjoy the things I really like with less effort!

I have a few hobbies, though, that would prevent me from fitting all my possessions into the back of a car. My rule of thumb, though, is if I can’t lift it/carry it myself, or it’s not easy to sell/dispose of, I have no place for it.

I think the “Greatest Generation” sees frugality differently. For them, keeping things is good, throwing things out is a waste.
