It might not be worth being a member of more than one of these kinds of organizations if your primary goal is the discounts.

Both filled with new articles and handy advice especially when talking about Medicare, money issues that effect seniors, etc. Considering the cost of magazine subscriptions these days, this a great deal because just finding one bit of advice that saves you $20+ pays for the membership.

Many places don’t require an AARP card to give senior discounts. I get senior drinks now whenever I’m at a fast food place which is a big savings compared to what a small drink usually costs.
