If one does have health insurance, insurers were required under PPACA (with few exceptions) to offer contraception for no copay/coinsurance starting August 2012. I am not sure every contraceptive had no copay but there should be several options available.

Without insurance, these options are good suggestions.

Voting for Mitt Romney does not take away your “access to birth control or other reproductive choices”. Last time I checked condoms as well as other things are sold over the counter in about every drug store and are available for purchase!

An AIDS counseling center that was down the hall from where I worked had a basket overflowing with condoms that were free to all. You could also check with the county health department to see if they have any free or reduced price items.

It shouldn’t always be up to the woman to be filling her body with chemicals when the guy can contribute to the birth control problem by using condoms.

There are also things like getting your tubes tied or vastectomies when you feel like you have had as many children as you want and can afford. It might cost more to start with but will save money in the long run.

or you could just vote for mitt romney and not have access to birth control or any other reproductive choices – think of the savings.
