Because the reality of it all is they really don't want to be doing those others things. Saying you're busy is many/most of the time just a convenient excuse to not do something you don't want to do.

I'm always amazed about women claiming they have no time to sew because they have a toddler in the house. Oh really? I think I did more sewing and got more done when I had toddlers than any other time in my life. I also didn't raise spoiled brats that thought the whole world revolved around them either. Just one of my pet peeves. The women just really doesn't want to sew, because we all make time for what we really want to do.

I find the need for stores to lure eager consumers into shopping with the hopes of Holiday discounts annoying. I watched some video footage from the recent Black Friday and to see what people go through just to save a few bucks on products is crazy. People actually get hurt in the process. I think it is ridiculous.
