Some may have a few missing pieces, but many of those playing pieces (especially if they’re players’ placeholders for the board) can be replaced with coins or other small household goods.

However I was playing monopoly with my nieces a couple of years ago and noted that the game had a computer versus the actual money. I enjoyed it less….I mean I could not steal money from the banker…THAT WAS HALF THE FUN!!!
