I agree in full with the writer. True, many people have multiple passions and could thus develop skills along these lines, subject to the available time on their hands. I have personally benefited from this. As a young man I trained and worked as a journalist for several years. Within the period of my engagement as a newspaper reporter, I studied law and got called to the Nigerian Bar. I have along the line produced two independent radio programmes on Maritime and Small bussiness. These perhaps prepared me for my subsequent training and accreditation both as a Mediation Advocate and a certificated Associate Mediator. As the author of the article has rightly noted, all of these took me several years to achieve. The benefit? I have recently got a job for which I am engaged as a resident consultant simply because I can multi task in the aforementioned areas of the organizations operations.It really feels good to enjoy the fruits of my multiple training all in one package. I have been working on some Internet based business for the past 20 months but have decided to further my real estate career which I have been in for 30 years by getting involved with purchasing foreclosed properties. I will renovate them and then resell them for a profit. I have been devouring information that will help me do this and am looking forward to my first sale.

I could not agree more. Generating multiple income streams can only come with versatility. Individuals are multifaceted in their interests, personalities etc. But for some reason when it comes to generating an income, many are too short sighted in their approach. In addition to the methods mentioned in this article, people should dive into their passions and hobbies to generate extra income. As an extra bonus, you will be doing something that you already love.
