Spot on! I believe that you have touched on all of the important factors David regarding self promoting. I agree with Ann on particularly liking the ‘don’t overdo’ and to ‘be sensitive’ topics, but I also believe that the ‘be sincere’ one is just as important as well! (I have recently come across some that were promoting themselves and were quite insincere and it showed through like a beacon!)
I would like to add to be well informed and knowledgeable to the list because if you are not completely at your best in the subject, all of the other points will be of no use and you will have spent time in vain!
