		<description><![CDATA[Another solution for marketing is to find another freelancer in the line of business you are in and trade a stack of business cards.  If one of you can&#039;t take a project you can recommend someone that you trust and is recommending you.  Also find small businesses that do similar work and work with them to become a recommended company when they can&#039;t or won&#039;t take a job.  It also helps if you can specialize and be the best in that one thing.

My mom does both of these.  She does sewing and alterations.  She traded business cards with another freelancer and with all the alteration shops around town.  She mainly does wedding and formal gowns.  Most of the alteration shops in town stopped working on wedding gowns and send everyone to her.  My sister started picking up extra work from my mom and share resources and equipment.]]></description>
