One note that many people seem to miss (I'm not saying you did) is that media mail is only to be used for books, CDs, DVDS, Videos. In other words media. I can't believe how many people I have seen that want to use media mail for items that do not qualify. If caught the person you are sending the package to will be liable for the extra charge and have to pay as if you sent the item priority. If you sold them the item and they have a postage surprise on their end, you are going to get lousy feedback!

My dh and I occasionally sell stuff on ebay and also participate in book and dvd swapping on http://www.swapadvd.com and http://www.bookmooch.com. I have found the best and cheapest place to buy the puffy envelopes for mailing is Dollar Tree. You can buy a package of 2 6x9 puffy envelopes for $1.00. That definitely beats the post office and all the retail outlets in my area.
