Money Confession - Unaffordable

What if you were given a chance to make a money confession that you had never told anyone before? I asked an audience I was giving a speech to do just that. This is a series of their confessions that I thought readers might be interested in seeing. This is number 13 in the series:

affordability
“I can’t afford my wife.”

I can’t afford my husband. Shall we trade?

Be careful. They can be even more expensive going through a divorce.

I can’t afford the woman I’m having an affair with ;) (that’s a joke)

The above jokes aside, this is a fairly serious issue if it is causing financial stress in your relationship. If one person is spending more than is coming in, there is going to be a large financial wreck at some point down the line. You have to be willing to communicate with your spouse about these matters and come to some type of agreement so that this is no longer an issue.
