    The best thing to do is try and turn any hobby you have into a part-time income. Then your hobby becomes tax deductible and you may even earn a bit in the process.

    The sewing tip to use sheets is a good one. I needed a new tablecloth for a small round table. According to the pattern directions, that would mean buying almost 10 yards of fabric! I could buy a ready-made one cheaper than that.
    Well, I had an old sheet I was about to donate that had become a little too ‘scratchy’ feeling. I used that for my tablecloth instead! It is great when you find things in unexpected places. I’m pretty sure that’s called “serendipity.”
