Free Retirement Checkup


If you have placed getting your retirement funds in order as one of your goals for the New Year, this might be the place to start. Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine in associations with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) will be sponsoring Kiplinger’s annual Jump-Start Your Retirement Plan Days for the fifth time this year.

The free retirement check-up will be available on Friday, January 26 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. eastern time so mark your calendar. You simply call (888-919-2345) NAPFA members who will be standing by to take your calls and answer your questions.

This is a great way to ask questions or just make sure that your retirement finances are going in the direction that you want. All the planners are fee based only and are well versed in investments, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement and college saving. Normally they would charge clients anywhere from $100 to $250 an hour, but on Jump-Start Days, you pay nothing — not even for the phone call. For more information, see A Free Retirement Checkup
