Some other birthday stuff: While most people only think of restaurants and other eating establishments for birthday specials, there are a wide variety of retailers that offer birthday specials. Any place you plan to visit on your birthday you should call and see what, if any, birthday specials they offer. This is especially true with places that you frequent regularly or enjoy shopping at. The call is free and you may be surprised that they have a special something for you. Here are some examples of other places that offer free birthday specials:

Bowling Alleys: Some bowling alleys will give away a free game of bowling
Casinos: Casinos give away a wide variety of specials to birthday guests
Golf Courses: some golf courses will give away a free round of golf
Movie Theaters: Some movie theaters will give free tickets or discounted tickets
Retail Shops: some retail shops give away specials to birthday customers
Ski Resorts: Some ski resorts will give away a free day of skiing
Video Rental Stores: Some movie rental stores will give a free video rental

  1. Most Casinos give something free on your birthday, they will force you to register for the players club if you haven’t already.

Every video store, I’ve ever rented from gives a free movie… if anyone rents movies anymore…

as I stated in the first paragraph:

“If you see a birthday freebie from the list below, be sure to call and confirm that the restaurant near you offers that particular birthday special. Not all restaurants participate in these birthday promotions or they may give something else for birthdays.”

  6. i am a member of your email club however your email for a free meal lists my birthday as 4-9-2007. my birthday is sept. 4th. or 9-4-2007.

  7. I don’t know about the other offers but that Taco Bell one is true. My daughter just had a birthday and GenX-mex dba Taco Bell sent her a card for a free birthday meal. It was valid for all GenX-mex owned Taco Bells. All you have to do is sign up for their birthday club list.

  8. I use to work at Red Lobster and they DO NOT give away free desert. The one in Indianapolis, IN doesn’t as I am sure across the US. They make sure all Red Lobsters are strick about following the same rule

  9. I think that whoever do give away free meals for birthdays is a good thing it would be nice to get treated special sometimes instead of always paying and I also think that people should advertise a whole lot more.

  10. Yes, it is true that Taco Bell does give birthday combo meals in certain areas. I happen to work for the Genxmex franchisee and we mail a combo meal coupon on your birthday for joining our birthday club either in our restaurants or at our website. You must live in Missouri or Illinois. Genxmex own 28 locations around the St.
    Louis metro area.

  11. I well turn 60 on the 7 of November.
