I truly believe that it is our everyday spending that hurts us. I heard a financial advisor say that we often think that by getting a savings from a big ticket item, we have done well He said, " how often do you buy an big ticket item?" He said it is the everyday stuff we buy that is taking our money. I try to stack up on taxable items that are on sale. That's 7% you're saving there and oh yes, I use coupons.

LIke I heard earlier, it's best to do things when you see that they need to be done. I like one method that says, look to your right and if you see something that bothers you, take care of it now. DO IT NOW! It's amazing how that can' motivate you to do things.

Eons ago (two years) when I started on my journy to get rid of the CC, I thought it would be a tough time but I would 'suffer thru it'

now I find it hard to waste money in some of hte old ways! At a friends house I feel guilty drinking forma water bottle, not filtered? I feel guilty using paper plates, I find it hard to not recycle (you sure you don't recycle?)

Not that there arn't many money saving htings I still could do, just that once started, and kep a habit is a habit, for good or bad, I am so glad I was able to find so many good ones!

You are absolutely right.

That's where your Daily Challenges came through for me.

Little changes like a telephone call to a cable company, an e-mail inquiry for information regarding my bank account, credit report request, saving money by NOT buying that expensive latte every morning...

The little steps that brought big changes.

Thank you.
