		<description>This is a great tip.  I&#039;ve also read that it&#039;s always less expensive wherever you buy your produce to buy what is in season.  If it&#039;s not in season, it&#039;s going to cost you more wherever you buy it.  Produce tastes better in season too.  Simple advice but true.</description>

One tip I would add to ensure best produce for the lowest cost:  choose the produce at peak season.  Right now that means spinach, kale, lettuce, snap peas and new potatoes.  Although some items like fresh basil are available, it&#039;s greenhouse grown and expensive.</description>
