This post is not personal financial related except adding another site to our growing list, but for those of you who enjoy computer programming and such, it should be of double interest.
While discussing with Nate about what new names we wanted for future sat sites, we began talking about getting him something to write about. It was a toss-up between computer programming and music and after discussing it a bit, he decided that starting something on computer programming was worth trying.
The next hurdle was coming up with a decent name for the site. We must have thrown names back and forth for an hour until we came across one that hit him right. It’s actually a quite simple name, but fits the theme of his blog well: One’s & Zero’s – www.1s0s.com We were both kind of surprised it was available, it’s short (which you can’t find many these days that actually have a meaning) and it goes perfectly with the zero and one theme of a computer programmer.
From his intro:
I decided to start this site for several reasons. First and foremost, to force myself to constantly improve my knowledge and skills as a web developer. Secondly, to share my thoughts and ideas with you regarding old, new and upcoming web technologies and techniques! And third, I have nothing better to do! (Honestly)
hmmmmmm, “I have nothing better to do! (Honestly)” — obviously I’m not giving him enough to do, but I’ll try to rectify that situation as much as possible 😉 While I probably won’t be mentioning the site much here since it is a completely different subject, if you do have an interest in that area, I’m sure it will be well worth adding to your blogroll.
