You may not be a Bill Gates, but where exactly do you rank in the world when it comes to your income? The Global Rich List gives you a chance to find out. You may be surprised to find out how well off you really are.
I came well within the top 1% of the world and I would not consider my income extraordinary. Now I’m sure that I would rank much further down if the comparison was just for the US, but it does show that we are a lot luckier than we often take the time to consider.
Now I would never suggest that this should make you satisfied so that you can ignore your personal finances. So while you’re at it, you can also see how long it will take you to become a millionaire to get you motivation to be financially secure into high gear.
